From an early age Steve would look forward to Saturday afternoons where he would help his Dad choose the ITV 7 selections. (For you young ‘uns The ITV 7 was like the Scoop 6 – but harder and less return) This developed into a keen interest in Horse Racing that stayed with him throughout his life.
Steve discovered Betfair about 10 years ago. Like many of Betfair’s customers he was intrigued that you could make a guaranteed profit before the event had even begun.
After spending 20 years working in the car industry, a plant closure gave Steve the opportunity to pursue the possibility of trading on Betfair full time.
Over the years Steve developed his understanding of sports exchange markets and used this knowledge to develop some innovative strategies. Specialising in horseracing but a keen student of football, Steve uses the popular app Gruss Betting Assistant to trade on Betfair. Steve also writes his popular blog Itsamugsblog as a way of trying to engage with like-minded individuals and use his experience to help educate others in exchange betting.
