Description
The part members use most is the order. Instead of taking the price on offer you can place a limit order at the fair price and leave it on the exchange. If someone takes it you have the bet at your price. If nobody does it lapses at kick-off and no bet is placed. Waiting orders are listed with the live market price next to them and can be cancelled at any time.
The model is a market-anchored Poisson. It is fitted to the exchange's own goals line rather than built in isolation, which means it cannot manufacture an edge on the market it is anchored to, and it says so on the row when it is unsure. Recent form, venue splits, goal profiles and team news sit behind each selection as the case for or against, including whether the players missing are the ones who actually score.
OddsLens never places a bet on your behalf. Every bet is confirmed by you, on your own Betfair account, through the official Exchange API, and the integration has been through Betfair's third-party security review. It is a pricing and decision tool, not an automated betting system, and it does not run in-play.
